Cling

To what do you cling?
To what do you hold fast?
Are you holding onto things that will not last?
Styles of music and dress come and go
Just like the four seasons we all know
We trust that our work for today
Will preserve our work for tomorrow
Not realizing the rain can come down, wipe out all that we have and fill our hearts with sorrow
We look to friends and family for security
Not realizing life and death are not under our authority
As spoken of in times past,
"Look to Me and be saved..." from the wrath that is sure to come to pass
Cling to the One who has been crucified
For in this God's wrath is satisfied
